1. “let’s throw billions at one of the most corrupt countries in Europe, what can possibly go wrong?” Zelensky has history of tax evasion even before his elections. Anyone who claims this is Russian propaganda should apply the same logic to corruption around Shoigu.

2. Damn, who could’ve guessed throwing millions at one of the most corrupt countries in Europe will be a good idea. Zelensky already had tax evasion allegations before the election, let alone the war. He tried to disband the investigative agency ordered by EU to protect those in his inner-circle and now we’re supposed to be shocked that this is coming out. Or pretend this is Russian propaganda.

3. I remember back before 2020 when all the reporting on Ukraine was about fascism and corruption, and how all of that disappeared almost overnight. Articles and papers I had cited for years were just gone.

   The propaganda complex around this issue has been *insane* to watch over the past 5 years.

4. Man, this sub is just so interesting.

   So many here defending Russia at every turn, somehow claiming Russia is in the right for their invasion, we shouldn’t put any support into Ukraine, defending Russian Imperialism.

   Then out of the other side, say they are against Imperialism and a country like Israel fighting against Hamas because thats Imperialism.

   Fascinating.

5. Just business as usual in Ukraine but you should check the corruption ranking and apparently Ukraine rank is way better compared to Russia!

   EU should have allow Ukraine to join so they can tap to EU funds and end the war.
