  1. I recommend checking their Ukrainian version too. It’s really good and actually a lot of words are similar to polish 😊

  2. Why nobody yet made this song in both languages? Part in Polish and part in Ukrainian since the original was written in both languages?

  3. About the ppl in the comments talking abut the authorship or “nationality” of the song, it is a folk song while it may have been created by someone (there isn’t consensus on any one person, it is a disputed issue) it evolved, at first the song didn’t even mention ukraine, only later as folk songs do it was transformed by the common people made into what it is today.

  4. This is the worst “Hej sokoły” i ever Heard, but this is only my opinion

  5. It would sound very cool if it had some meaningful music. But this disco beat completely does not fit the folk text.

  6. People sweating in the comments about the origin of the song. Chill, the authorship is uncertain anyway. It’s nice that we have a piece that we can share and sing together. This is a song that should be connecting us not dividing.

I like this interpretation. I am not a fan of “classic” version, it’s pace is a little bit to slow for my taste, but this one’s perfect.

    Thanks for sharing 🙂

  7. i’ve seen a whole lot or russian tanks being blown up to that song
