An Albanian mother of three children, including a newborn baby, has become the first woman to be extradited from Britain to her home country to face jail.
Judge John Zani backed the extradition of Lirie Delishi, 25, after ruling that the risk of Britain being seen as a “safe haven” for criminals outweighed her claims that her deportation would breach her rights to a family life under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
Albanian prosecutors have sought to extradite Delishi to serve a four-month prison sentence after she was caught using a fake Romanian passport as she tried to take a flight from Tirana to Rome in 2019.

farewell madame.
So the ECHR did not stop us deporting someone and her kids.
Wow, this finally seems like common sense has arrived thank you Judge Zani.
Albania 🇦🇱 is too European now I guess
Fuckin hell, don’t deport the hot ones
/s
Good
Delishi indeed!
Zany guy! Good though.
Bad journalism. Albanian women have been deported before, there is a difference between extradition and deportation.
“Zani” doesn’t sound like a British name /s
