I recently holidayed in Malta and Gozo.
One day we decided to take our hire car over to Gozo for the day.
The ferry and facilities were comparable to the Red Funnel and Wightlink ferries.
However, the ferry ran to time and the journey took 40 minutes.
The total cost for four of us was just £22.65 return.
I don’t know if these fares are subsidised but perhaps this needs looking into.
