I know this is just advice but i really, really hope they don’t make working from home mandatory again. My productivity/concentration is so much lower man… Also losing daily contact with colleagues sucks, i hate interacting via teams/zoom.
I also don’t get the focus on limiting student activities but permitting other cultural events?
Lets try things that didn’t work again for the 4th time. Why do people still listen to these idiots?

I’m ready to throw away some principles and wish for a mandatory vaccination for all (first vaccination and booster) so we can get on with our lives. At this point, it really may be the only option, how controversial it may be.
Edit: anyone with other options? We’re stuck. We may as well be the first country to do so and reap some of the economic benefits as the first mover. Then again, it’s easy for me to say being on the sidelines.
These are the same people that were constantly dangling the “Vaccinatie is de enige sleutel tot vrijheid” carrot. And look where we are now 80.5% vaccination rate and STILL they are thinking of shutting down nightlife again. Sometimes i’m so busy during the week that i don’t have time for my hobbies outside school/work. Going to the fuse/c12 with my friends is then the only thing i look forward to at the end of the week.
Is GEMS just a new abbreviation for incompetence ?
I’m a supporter for mandatory vaccin & teleworking, but besides talk these clowns will never achieve the walk.

Usually when you read something like this, you can bet it will be the other way round in one form or another.
De experten van de GEMS hebben macht gekregen in 2020 en willen zich vastbijten aan dat macht, ten koste van de sociale levens van de mensen.
To be honest, I have never seen such orchestrated incompetence at the same time by this many countries.
Almost all €€€ countries are taking the same steps, that didn’t work in the past, dividing and riling up people.
And this is every time given by a board of experts and the advice is *always* leaked beforehand. (Look at what happend in NL a few days ago).
This reminds me of that little teaserpreview you get at the end of a show that gets you lukewarm to watch the next episode.
So a few exceptions right now we have are the UK, Sweden and Denmark. Where they don’t have euros but pounds and crowns. Bizar.
And can anybody, literally any doctor or psychologist be on board with masking these kids?
With all the respect for thé elderly, how many COVID casualties are there amongst -18 year olds?
And what 9 year old can manage to uptake a good mask hygiene?
And why would unvaccinated people be expelled from nightlife even unable to test?

Meet Jan : Jan is double vaccinated. Jan just like most 23 year olds loves to party. Jan has caught covid but it is mild and only sniffles, een verkoudheid like any other he thinks.
Jan shows his CST at Charlatan on Saturday evening. Jan is having a good time without mondmasker and with some luck grinding against some ladies. Jan is now a superspreader there spreading sarscov2 like the love he is feeling that evening.
This is how it goes.
Unvaccinated get tested and are negative when coming in. Punt.
But as long as the millenial and zoomer generation isn’t dropping like flies, and most people in the hospital are 65+ shouldn’t we really start to think about other approaches to protect our precious grandparents wisdom and semi racist remarks? Is that really so irrational after all this time and reoccurring nightmare situations where everything except the holy fabrieken (running 24/7 ayoo) en economy is touched or even spoken about?
I swear I’m going to graduate uni without having a single semester where everything’s normal.

It is nearly three years into the pandemic and we are still debating the effectiveness of these basic measures…
Yeah nah fuck off, why would young people (who make up extremely small numbers of ICU and deaths) continue to live in this nightmare while not being at risk, especially when vaccinated.
