Finland messed me up emotionally and I was only there for ONE day??? I spent 2 weeks melting in a hot European touristy country and then stepped into Finland and it was such a mind blowing experience 😭
The grocery stores were magical, the libraries were basically heaven, and even the Korean food (that didn’t look Korean at all lol btw im korean) was adorable 💀
It’s been 2 years and looking back at my Finland photos feels like stalking an ex I never moved on from
If I ever get a job after graduation and save sm money, I’m flying back immediately 😭🇫🇮💨
And honestly… I became a Finlandboo after that 😭

i haven’t seen the sun in 3 weeks. Or even blue sky, for that matter. Hope this makes you feel better 😀
July is amazing in Finland though, that’s definitely true.
I lived in South Korea for two years… that’s not a terrible place either 🙂
That’s just Helsinki. You have to visit Vantaa for the true experience
Yeaah, it’s great in here. It’s been grey for 3 weeks and probably continues to be like that for the next 3 months. Every winter i wonder why i live here.
What’s that library in #8?
I recommend to rent a cabin further away from Helsinki. Helsinki is just one city and Finland is mostly forests and lakes.
Beautiful photos! You certainly caught Finland on the best day. Here’s some antidote. It’s been raining for a week and the sun sets at 4pm. This picture could be taken any time between 4pm and 9am.

You saw alot in one day
Wow, beautiful pictures, glad you liked it. Helsinki is my hometown, but I dont really get to appreciate its beauty because I’m seeing it every day. I always like seeing pictures by tourists, it shows Finland through a different set of eyes, and I really appreciate it. 감사합니다. 또 오세요!
Showing those pictures mid-November is practically a war crime..
I hope you got a chance to try Korea House restaurant in Helsinki! It is said to be the best Korean restaurant in Finland, even Koreans love it and go there all the time. It is definitely one of the best places I’ve ever eaten! 🤤
poistha can u remove this post? cant see summer pics
Buildings can be built and destroyed; nature is much tougher.
i, too, love korean food
Red E39 M5 👍
lol you gonna be so dissappointed
Traveling to a country and actually living in a country are 2 completely different journeys. Korea carries many great memories of mine during my 2 months of intern there in Daejeon 15 years ago, still talk about that nowadays, but I heard it is not a great place to live either, cant speak from experience though. Grass is always greener on the other side 😸
The current weather is even more enlightening then in the summer months. Nothing like wet and cold best time of the year!
I feel you, I have been there twice in summer for a month each, and now I really miss my time there… ;(
You experience authentic Finland if you come here during november xD It’s dark, it’s wet, it’s cold, it’s windy. If you are lucky, you see this weird light in the sky for few hours
I’m asking my friends in Australia to send me pictures of the sun lol. Is it still up there somewhere?
0 pictures of true Finland
Such a lively place! 15 images of the city center and 6,5 people seen!
R-kioski and K-market made me chuckle a bit.
We spent a week in Finland, I adored it! I did struggle with reduced light hours though.
