Delta Goodrem has revealed the one thing she refused to do at her fairytale wedding in Malta earlier this year.
The Born to Try singer tied the knot to her partner, musician Matthew Copley, in a gorgeous wedding on the beautiful Mediterranean island in June this year.
The 41-year-old revealed that she refused to sing at her wedding for her friends and family.
“I had no intention of singing,” she told the Herald Sun.
“We are blessed to get to do what we love on stage and sharing that is the best ever, so I didn’t feel the need to do that at the wedding.”
“All my family and friends, I ask them to come to shows all the time, they don’t need that for my wedding.”
Despite the lack of singing at the wedding, the pair danced the night away following the ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina.

Goodrem and her husband entered the reception, held at the Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar, to ACDC’s Thunderstruck.
The singer said it was to pay homage to home.
”I’ve got to represent Australia at all times,” she said.
She went on to say the wedding entrance had ”the right amount of bigness but also lots of dancing.”

Adding that it was “extravagant” but she wanted to make sure it was still “grounded”
“You’re walking in with Thunderstuck, so both parts that exist.”
She also touched on her life as a wife, describing it as “magical” and “intimate.”
The singer shared photos of the pair’s wedding in an Instagram post in July writing: “It was more magical than we both could have dreamed.”

“We said I do under the Maltese skies in a family fairytale wedding brought to life by so many angels surrounding us.
“We are holding on to every memory from that moment, the love, the laughter, the happy tears and dancing till the sun came up.”
The photos show the newlyweds inside their stunning wedding venue, the 12th-century St Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina.
In her caption, Goodrem described her bridal gown as “the dress of my dreams”, revealing it was designed and “made with so much love” by Paolo Sebastian.
According to Vogue, the off-shoulder French tulle gown took Vasileff and his team more than three months to complete.
It includes a two-and-a-half metre train and matching cathedral veil, with personal details, including the couple’s wedding date, embroidered onto the gown.
