November the 14th, 2025 – Croatia, Austria and Slovenia are all aiming to bring in more US tourists through the new Alps-Adriatic-Amazing campaign at the Signature Travel Show held in Las Vegas.
As Sinisa Malus/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Croatia, Austria and Slovenia have once again joined forces to strengthen their presence across the pond and attract more US tourists through a joint promotional campaign called Alps-Adriatic-Amazing. It is being implemented by the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Slovenian Tourist Board and the Austrian National Tourist Board. The aforementioned campaign highlights the stunning beauty and tourist assets of the Alps-Adriatic region and showcases a combination of natural experiences, rich cultural heritage and an amazing food scene.

The campaign is being co-financed by the European Travel Commission (ETC) as part of a joint effort to promote Europe as a high-quality tourist destination for visitors from outside of the continent.
“The joint promotional campaign being run by Croatia, Austria and Slovenia to bring in more US tourists is an excellent example of cooperation between destinations that share similar values, cultural connections and a tourism offer that is of a very high quality. With the support of the European Travel Commission, this joint campaign aims to further position the entire Central European and Mediterranean area as an authentic, safe and diverse region ideal for travel for American visitors.

With projects such as these, Croatia is further strengthening its presence as a desirable destination on distant markets and is encouraging the creation of a recognisable European tourism brand that promotes sustainability, authenticity and unique travel experiences,” explained Kristjan Staničić, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) and Vice President of ETC. He also made sure to emphasise that the US market is the most important distant market for Croatian tourism and has been for some time now.
As part of the joint campaign between Croatia, Austria and Slovenia aimed at bringing in more US tourists, a number of B2B and B2C activities are being carried out. They include the “Signature Travel Network” conference which was recently held in Las Vegas. The three aforementioned countries jointly presented themselves at one of the most influential luxury tourism events in the entire US. The focus was placed primarily on the presentation of sustainable and authentic experiences. This year, in addition to the national tourist organisations themselves, several destination organisations from across the Alpine-Adriatic region (Vipava Valley, Julian Alps, Karst, Umag and Friuli Venezia Giulia) all came to participate in the event.
