  1. It’s great that the kid got treatment and heart warming that there are good people in this world, but it’s a damning excoriation of our health care system that James Van Der Beek has to auction off his estate and two-year-olds have to beg celebrities for the basic human right of health care.

  18. My son’s leukemia treatment and stem cell transplant has cost roughly $4million as paid out by insurance. We were billed for roughly 2-3x that amount (hard to keep track after so many years).

    Health care is a human right, shouldn’t rely on the luck of some billionaire celebrity taking pity on us.
