President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with Finnish President Alexander Stubb about continued support for Ukraine and the latest Russian attack.

He shared details of the call on Telegram on November 14.

“I spoke with the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb. Yet another horrific Russian attack against Ukraine, our people, ordinary residential buildings. Alex expressed his condolences to the entire Ukrainian nation and condemned this treacherous strike by the Russians. I thanked him for these words of support,” Zelenskyy said.

According to the President, the two leaders also discussed ongoing assistance for Ukraine in every possible area, as well as joint actions with partners to increase pressure on Russia.

“Only pressure—through sanctions and force—can compel the Russians to end this war, which no one but them ever needed,” he added.

During the night of November 13–14, Russia launched a large-scale airstrike on Kyiv, using drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. The attack occurred in the early hours and caused extensive damage across both sides of the capital.

According to Tymyr Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, the strike resulted in four fatalities and 27 injuries.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Azerbaijani Embassy building in Kyiv was damaged following a Russian drone and missile attack in the early hours of November 14.
