80s car aesthetics were peak.

It happens everytime a new design generation of BMW is released. FYI when the Z4 E85 and 7 e65 by Chris Bangle were released people were outraged and said they were the ugliest BMW ever.
You’re comparing a car from the 80s to a car from 2025.
You can’t make the car above now, because of regulations (the hood needs to be rounded, because if you hit someone they’ll go above the hood, decreasing the damage)
BMW and VW get worse and uglier every single year. They gave away such a huge lead. Absolutely nobody will be maintaining and restoring modern bmw’s or VW’s in 30 years time. I bet the 90’s ones will still be around though.

These abominations are all over Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Romania, etc. We can say all day it’s marketed to limpdicked Americans, but they are being purchased all over Europe, along with large pickup trucks and other unnecessarily large suvs. The only solution is what Germany did to Walmart, don’t fucking buy them.
In their defense, I have only had good experiences with (big fat) American dicks.

One of the main reasons for the Corvette’s design looking good is the double-behind, on the behind.
My hypothesis is that this is intentional to market the car to arseholes, but I got no evidence, besides the correlation with actual BMW owners.
