4. The impeachment process is broken. The Senate makes it too hard to impeach a president that’s done extremely impeachable things. This has been obvious ever since the failed impeachment of Andrew Johnson.

5. No chance. They’ll just move the goalposts and start defending child abuse. There is no low to which the GOP won’t sink if it means they can continue to be contrarians to the left.

6. There is an email in there to Mark Epstein telling him to and I quote:

   “Ask him if Putin has the photos of Trump blowing Bubba?”

7. I don’t care about impeachment. I care about conviction, removal from office and a ban on holding any federal office in the future.

12. No. Congress is not going to impeach Donald Trump over the Epstein scandal. They haven’t held him to account for anything in the past. Why should Congress hold Trump accountable over anything?

    I will begin to hope Trump is going down when I turn on my news feed and the top story is “Donald Trump found guilty in Senate impeachment trial. Click here to see video of Trump being dragged kicking and screaming out of the White House.” And even then, my assumption will be SCOTUS will rule Congress doesn’t have the authority to impeach Trump because raping underage girls isn’t an “official act”.

13. Newsweek and all these other “publications” are so fucking happy they helped get this dipshit elected by sanewashing or ommitting certain coverage of him last year. So now they can release easy lazy dumbshit articles about low approval ratings, and impeachment rumblings every fucking week that people will engage with.

14. It’s crazy that this is just a possibility and not that he’s already being impeached. Then again, same country that voted for the worst president in any living person’s memory.

21. I can actually see a potential for something like the reign of terror happening in the United States if the full Epstein files ever get released. It could impact politicians who protected them. I think for a lot of Americans they have a lot of differing opinions, but when it comes to adults raping children, I think we all have the general same level of disgust that our line in the sand is the same. That said, there are people like Megan Kelly who is doing astounding mental gymnastics to try and justify the rape of young teens as being a lesser form of rape than that of a child, even though a young teen is just a child. Heck, I saw a guy who said “young girls always fawn over rich men and will do whatever they can to get money out of them” – a lot of people on twitter, both on the right and left were disgusted and said “the FBI needs to search this guys hard drive”.

22. I’ll believe it when I see it. MAGA runs the country and they have proven to be allies of pedophiles. No consequences will come of this. Just like every other 5 alarm fire that’s happened since January, we’ll continue to watch the country burn.

24. Wouldn’t it be beautiful if the impeachment process didn’t involve co-conspirators? Instead of having the senate vote in conviction, empanel a jury of 100 random citizens.
