Bend’s Nicole Hough was recently nominated and confirmed to serve on the Oregon Medical Board.
Hough was a former vice president at St. Charles Health System, and is now president and CEO of Lindahl Reed, where she advances safety culture and takes on mission-driven work.
The Oregon Medical Board’s mission is protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of Oregon citizens by regulating the practice of medicine and promoting access to quality care.

Luis Jiménez was named president of the board for the Latino Community Association. He replaces Zavier Borja, who now will serve as board vice president. Also named were Jimena López, of Prineville and Marlene Peraza, of Redmond as client service coordinators.
Bradley Driggers has joined Coldwell Banker Bain’s Bend office as a real estate broker. Previously he worked as an agent at Windermere Realty Trust.
Melissa Steele has been named deputy fire marshal of wildfire preparedness at Bend Fire & Rescue. This new position will be dedicated to increasing community preparedness and resilience.
Rob Little has been named president of Ruffwear, a Bend-founded business featuring outdoor gear for dogs. Little co-founded Cairn, a subscription service that connects outdoor brands to customers. He sold that business to Outside Inc.
