The Kosovo national team will play today (Saturday) against Slovenia at the “Stozice” stadium starting at 20:45 PM and warnings have already been issued by the Slovenian Football Federation for fans of both national teams.
The Football Federation of Slovenia has prepared special instructions for Kosovo fans that will make it easier to reach the match venue and improve the fan experience.
According to them, the doors of the “Stozice” stadium will open at 18:45, or two hours before the official start of the match. To avoid crowds, all fans are invited to a special fan zone on the platform in front of Stand C between 18:00 and 20:00, where an accompanying program will take place.
They have asked all visitors to arrive at the venue on time (to be at the entrance marked on the ticket no later than 19:00 PM) and to use one of the recommended parking spaces.
However, in addition to this, the Slovenian Federation has also issued a warning to home fans, who are expected to occupy all other parts of the stadium.
“Given that the Stozice stadium will be fully booked for the match between Slovenia and Kosovo, we call on all fans of the Slovenian national football team to equip themselves with (white) jerseys, scarves and flags (without sticks, of course), and thus show your support for the boys on the pitch. If you still do not have the “mandatory fan gear”, we recommend that you visit the official 11TS store in Ljubljana or the fan zone before the match,” the announcement initially states.
“The Football Federation of Slovenia calls on all visitors to respect the rules of conduct and promote sportsmanship in the stands. For security reasons and in accordance with the instructions of the competent authorities, entry to the stadium will only be possible with the symbols of Slovenia and the Slovenian national team, except in the specially designated guest sector D.”
“Fans who come to the stadium with fan badges from other countries will be denied entry to sectors A, B and C. In this case, they will be able to hand over their fan items to a specially arranged storage area at the entrance to the stadium and start the entry process again.”
“We ask all fans to understand and respect the instructions of the stadium guards and the organizer, as we want to ensure a safe and enjoyable sporting atmosphere for all participants,” the announcement concludes. /Telegraph/
