I totally get not knowing who she is. I would hope the PM is too busy to watch daytime TV after all. However to say this out loud is just weird behaviour.
No one should care if the PM doesn’t know the name of a TV presenter. This is an absolute non-story.
I have no idea who she is. But Boris sure as hell does. He may play the buffoon but he’s far from stupid. This is classic playbook stuff, give the papers absolutely anything else to talk about than the starving old lady you just essentially just pissed all over.
