Or not! A knock-on from Scott Barrett as he comes down to deck.

TMO Marius van der Westhuizen calls down, however, to inform referee Andrea Piardi that Maro Itoje’s hand had been the cause – a penalty against Itoje for playing Barrett in the air and New Zealand get another go.

New Zealand flip the field! An ambitious pass in contact from Tom Curry is knocked on and Peter Lakai comes spiralling away. Billy Proctor thumps a kick upfield and Leroy Carter and co. force Marcus Smith to hold on for dear life on the floor. The All Blacks prod to the corner – what a swing this could be.,..

England’s bench make their presence known! Ellis Genge munches Pasilio Tosi, perhaps crumpling him to win a scrum penalty. One more try would surely kill the contest – and George Ford punts to 15 metres from the All Blacks line.

Tapped and off New Zealand go, but not for long! A knock on and England counter, Henry Pollock shooting into space. He draws and gives to Tom Roebuck, who attempts to return the favour 30 metres upfield. His offload is slightly askew; Pollock fails to take it.

Penalty advantage for New Zealand to work with…they make a hash of it. Back for that offside infringement.

To the bench go England from a position of strength. Enter Ellis Genge, Will Stuart, Tom Curry, Henry Pollock; exit Fin Baxter, Joe Heyes, Sam Underhill and Guy Pepper.

Alex Mitchell hooks a box kick out on the full, though, after the restart. Sloppy.

TRY! ENGLAND 25-12 New Zealand (Fraser Dingwall, 55 minutes)

Right up Twickenham High Street!

The simplest try Fraser Dingwall will ever score! The defenders condense around his centre partner Ollie Lawrence and open up an avenue on his shoulder which Dingwall simply strolls through. He can’t quite believe it, but England extend their lead.

A brilliant 50:22! There are a few howls of frustration from the fans as George Ford eschews an overlap and looks to kick after Tom Roebuck had won back possession in the air, but they soon turn to cheers as Ford finds touch on the third bounce to give England a lineout.

Changes for the All Blacks. Damian McKenzie is is on for Beauden Barrett, Wallace Sititi for Simon Parker and Codie Taylor back amongst things.

The yellow card has expired but New Zealand aren’t yet permitted to restore themselves to a full complement. Two scrum resets aren’t necessarily what they want, although they have chosen to put Leicester Fainga’anuku on the flank this time to match England’s tally in there.

That’s nifty, a cross kick from Beauden Barrett for an unmarked Quinn Tupaea. A yard too far, though – Tupaea is at full tilt and full length as he dives for it but can’t hang on. Alex Mitchell and Tom Roebuck were both coming across to cover.

England are readying replacements – the sight of Henry Pollock, Ellis Genge and co. waiting to come on elicits a Twickenham roar.
