Children of Belgian parents should be considered Belgian children and should not be abandoned.
Didn’t the Swiss once have a law that people engaging in conflicts abroad where automatically stripped from Swiss citizenship?
Seems like a smart idea.
A lot of people seem to want to understand terrorism and anything else to do with Islam as a ‘foreign’ problem. It is not. Belgium has lots of Muslim citizens whose families have been here for multiple generations. Treating these people like foreigners is just a way to shirk responsibility.
Sure some immigrant getting out of the back of a truck from the Middle East and setting off a bomb here is a ‘them’ problem. But people born and bred in Belgium turning into terrorists is an ‘us’ problem.
Seems logic: if they are Belgian citizens, why would we expect from Syria to take care of our subjects. We need to solve our own mess.
Good even more terrorists in our country. Thank you leftists and remember to buy flowers & candles when your kids get killed by them :))
