I remember watching the great North run on the Tyne bridge one year he was competing. The leading pack were running faster than I could sprint and I’m sure that’s still true of him

I like how the article makes out he was beaten by a just some club runner. Ellis Cross is a fantastic runner, he’s been UK number 1 in his age group growing up for 10,000m and UK number 2 for 10kM. Everyone can have a bad day and there is no shame in growing old. I just hope he feels like he got his all out of his career (which most people with think he has).
So, by law of transference, this guy now gets all Mo’s olympic bling??
