Those on the left who say just process the claims quicker. Here are some stats from Europe….
Green Deputy leader @rachelmillwar lauded the doctors & engineers crossing the Channel.
The German Education ministry found 65% of migrants are “functionally illiterate” even in their own language.
An apprenticeship had a 70% drop out rate after 2 years.
A care worker course of 26 migrants only had 6 pass.
In Sweden Scania employed 100 Somalis. After 3 months 90 had left or been fired as they couldn’t turn up for time or work, or work as part of a team.
These people are unemployable & a perpetual burden on the taxpayer.

A free and fair legal system has costs.
The alternative is to put people through legal proceeding without proper advice or representation.
As always, the lawyers are the winners…👌
Human rights laws mostly seem to apply & be used by asylum seekers and the solictors acting in their intrests know its a profitable route to business / customers. Seems a bit of a toxic set of circumstances where solictors wanting to both earn & use their skills know its an area of law thats profitable, rules & regs coming in to conflict with other intrests and directly opposing against the goverments wants & needs.
The goverments hands are tied due to ECHR regulations which are ovbiously being used out of proportion by others.
Wait until you hear about Test and Trace.
Everybody deserves legal representation, its absolutely a cost worth paying
RECORD 0.5% OF UKS LEGAL AID BILL SPENT ON ASYLUM LEGAL AID
it’s a lot less significant when you put it on context, but we know the daily mails target audience is unthinking racist trogs.
This has to stop.
Bradford has some of the highest rates of driving without insurance/licenses in the country, together with off the chart planning permission breaches and anti-social behaviour. These offenders will never have office jobs or be doctors or engineers therefore don’t care if they get a socially-shaming criminal record. Doesn’t this the help perpetuate their exclusion from the wider society thereby feeding into the black market / mini-mart / money laundering economy?
Who is it who’s getting paid?
This is why it’s an issue. If people are profiting from it, it’s not something that’s just going to end any time soon.
The problem is what it’s always been. Greed.
£14m is sweet fa in the grand scheme of things.
The whole human rights racket is simply a mechanism to keep lawyers on the gravy train. Would be pleased to see the ECHR go.
Still less than a days expense for all the politicians expense paid by tax payers. Also their 5million party bashes they have.
That’s a rounding error in the context of the UK budget. Absolute click bait.
A right to legal council is a fundamental one. Is the daily Mail really saying that we should not supply legal assistance in proceedings. And do they really think £14m is a lot of money for the UK to use on it?
14 million quid but ignore ALL the money laundering that is happening let’s focus on this 14 million. 100 billion annually, enough to plug any gap….
Report brought to you by those involved in nearly 30bn worth of tax avoidance a year.
Tax payer Paid 700 million for Rwanda scheme that processed… 6 people, just to put something in comparison
Edit: 4 people actually
They shouldn’t be getting any legal aid or translators (cannot speak, read or write English is a huge red flag anyway) they should only get probono lawyers, also it is a criminal offence to enter the UK illegally and is an open and shut case, do you have a passport or visa to enter the UK if they cannot produce one they get deported via placement in a UNHCR camp.
Without reading the article I took a guess this was fron the Daily Heil and I was right.
We give £17.5bn to fossil fuels every year and they make record profits every year.
We face Amazon £7.7m last year in tax credits.
We lost £5.5bn in tax avoidance in 22/23 that’s rich people stealing.
All this and your on here bitching about poor people.
Daily Mail and inflammatory articles about asylum seekers.
Here we are again.
More reasons not to look at the millionaires, billionaires and the easily bought and paid for mp’s making your life miserable, it’s definitely the foreigners.
