It’s a ridiculous state of affairs thst policing *isn’t* a devolved matter. The stated division within Labour over this demonstrates that Labour’s Welsh MPs serve no one except themselves in their disregard of Welsh Labour’s conference-mandated wishes.
Crown estate while we’re at it
Its hard to really think of an argument against this. These things are generally better managed at a more local level.
That being said, would be interesting to hear what changes we could make at a devolved level if we were to do this. If we’re going to put time and energy into this we may as well make it worth it.
