Poland being Poland

  1. Lol that’s what happens when you’re country is destroyed by a war and then ppl have to rebuild fast they rebuild in a more efficient faster uglier style then the previous buildings doubt ppl have a fuck about historical context buildings on side streets after the war when everything they had was destroyed

  2. It’s not that bad. I go by these buildings often and seems to me this “grainy” picture is making it look worse than it really is. It’s like there’s some kind of ‘soviet’ filter here.

  3. Typical Polish mentality, well look how poorly it is here. The grass is always greener in neighbours yard.

  4. Hey, i know this alley. Wrocław, near grunwald. Looks even worse when I was student there.

  5. Is this close to Woo Thai restaurant? And Wrocław Veterinarian University?

  6. I’ve been in Wrocław only a few times, yet I instantly recognised it. I still think that overall it’s a pretty nice city tho.

  7. Lol literally live like 40 meters away from this place, they’re rebuilding smth there curently, hopefully it will get less dreary in the end

  8. All of Warsaw used to look like this. Tbh I kind of miss it. I think the newer parts of Warsaw are uglier. Cheap plastic facades on glass monstrosities. And they look too new…

  9. If this is the building close to the Grunwald bridge, my aunt RIP used to live there. It was a nice apartment in the 80s. Strange architecture but nice inside.

  10. Wroclaw… it‘s the worst part of our town, in the middle , kinda, of it

  11. Fun Fact: That building which looks more “new” is actually a communist building!

  12. Przepraszam… tylko mówię trochę po polsku. Czy jestem głupia jeśli lubię szare mieszkanie? Lubię architekturę.

  13. I prefer the depressing polish blocks/flats than the shitty old stone flats (in Scotland, Glasgow) that have faulty pipes causing shit and sewage from the neighbors above to spill into my bathtub and shower every second week.
