What was he shooting? Was that a 30mm launcher?
Reminds me of the Syrian Civil War footage, felt like there were suicide bulldozers every week for a while there
2014-2015/early 2016 (before YouTube/Twitter nuked everything and started heavily moderating, someone help correct me on this timeline of when they clamped down) was absolutely **insane** in terms of combat footage and videos from Syria and Northern Iraq.
I say these two years because that’s when smartphones were starting to get really good cameras and we were getting daily uploads of guys just hanging out smoking cigarettes in olive groves on a Syrian mountainside, or Peshmerga launching assaults against Daesh in northern Iraq.
We were watching the entire war unfold right before our eyes. r/syriancivilwar was the reason I even came to reddit and is still the craziest forum I’ve ever been on at its peak.
Was anyone else here during those years? Especially right before the YouTube/Twitter crackdown.
