You, Me & Tuscany Trailer

“You’re a chef? You belong here.” Universal Pictures has revealed an official trailer for the romantic comedy You, Me and Tuscany, formerly known as Italianna. This amusing love story set in Tuscany, Italy, of course, is about two lovers who cross paths under awkward circumstances but sparks fly. An Italian chef and uptight British lawyer fall in love at a wedding in Italy. From Will Packer, the blockbuster producer of Girls Trip and the Ride Along franchise, comes a delicious romantic comedy about one little lie, one large Italian villa, and two people getting lost in the sauce of love. Halle Bailey stars as Anna, a young woman who has abandoned her dreams of becoming a chef and is now drifting through her 20s with a series of bad choices. The film’s full international cast includes Regé-Jean Page as her new beau, named Michael, with Aziza Scott, Isabella Ferrari, Lorenzo de Moor as Matteo, Marco Calvani as a taxi driver who befriends Anna, and Nia Vardalos as Anna’s house-sitting client, Mrs. Dunn. This looks super sweet and extra goofy, perhaps a bit too goofy with this mix-up plot & fake fiance stunt and all that. But maybe it’ll be fun anyway.

“Sometimes the wrong place is right where you need to be.” Halle Bailey stars as Anna, a young woman who has abandoned her dreams of becoming a chef and is now drifting through her twenties with a series of bad choices. When Anna loses her house-sitting job (and housing) in one fell swoop, a chance encounter with Matteo—a handsome Italian who happens to have a villa sitting empty in Tuscany—will inspire her to jet off for Italy, against the advice of her always-honest bestie, Claire (Aziza Scott). But Anna’s plan to crash at Matteo’s villa, without permission, for one night, falls apart when Matteo’s mother (Italian film icon Isabella Ferrari) shows up at the house unexpectedly. In a panic, Anna allows her to believe that she is Matteo’s fiancée. That little lie becomes a big problem, though, when his cousin, Michael (Regé-Jean Page) shows up, and Anna discovers the heat between them may ignite a fire that will transform her life…

You, Me & Tuscany, formerly titled Italianna, is directed by American actor / writer / producer / filmmaker Kat Corio, director of the films Life Happens, And While We Were Here, A Case of You, and Marry Me previously, and on the series Marvel’s “She-Hulk”, “The Spiderwick Chronicles”, “Matlock”. The screenplay is written by Ryan Engle (of Rampage, Beast), based on an original idea by Ryan Engle and Kristin Engle. Produced by Will Packer and Johanna Byer for Will Packer Prods. Exec produced by Ryan Engle & Kristin Engle. Universal will debut Kat Corio’s You, Me & Tuscany movie in theaters starting on April 10th, 2026.
