  1. I’m amazed the tower serves absolutely no use. It’s just a stairs up a tower, to basically a viewing platform.

You’d think with all the money you would put at least a seat up there? Maybe a telescope.

  2. Nah, yer grand. I wouldn’t be able to shake the fear of the ghost of that cunt jumping out of a bathroom mirror some night while I’m going for a piss. It just has weird vibes to it…

  3. It’s not his house, it’s owned by a private family

The owners have done a really good job with it, looks really well finished.

  4. I’m always amazed that men who took a vow of poverty live(d) like this. I don’t expect them to actually live poor (no working man or woman should live poor).

They should absolutely live at a decent professional standard for the work they do, but this is Oligarch territory.

Alexei Navalny is in prison for making drone videos like this about Putin’s new gaffs.

  5. I’d safely say that many altar boys had their innocence stolen from them within those walls.

  6. If I’ll had that kind of money I’d buy it solely to raze it to the ground. Not sure what I’d do with the site, but probably something to make the nimbys tremble more than they probably already did when I applied for planning to raze it

  7. Living like a king while the church was diddling and abusing kids. Funds should be turned over to the state.

  8. Whats an archbishops wages these days?

Our local priest (very camp one too) bought a flashy beamer, i thought he was cool.

  9. Dya know what, if I had 12 million to spend on a house I actually would. It looks to be in stupidly good condition, very well maintained.

But I’ve a budget of 230k so I’ll just go fuck myself instead.

  10. It’s a bit like if you’ve ever been to St. Peter’s Square and you realise the church is absolutely dripping with wealth.
