Lad, a Reddit poll on anything is the square root of eff all.
You will find that most English people wonder why they have to pay extra tax to keep Northern Ireland afloat.
Why Northern Ireland gets free prescriptions and water charges when they are being billed.
Why public transport in Northern Ireland is a fraction of the cost of that in England.
Nearly all English people, once they’re assured of protection of civil rights for all, are either indifferent or else massively in favour of an independent and United Ireland.
I just find it funny Britain is just telling them to fuck off already
This is interesting but I’d love to see a very extensive poll done on this topic, in Scotland, Wales and England and across political parties (Labour, Tory and LibDem). I’d be very interested to see the results.
Not much of a surprise. I’ve always been under the impression that the British want to get rid of NÍ at worst or are apathetic about it at best
No one wants northern ireland. This has been the case since the 70s when the brits first put out feelers to get rid of it.
Id like to saw it off ireland and float it out to sea.
Not that I think a Reddit poll is indicative of true sentiment but none of this would surprise me too much. Certainly have gotten the vibe that the Unionist/UK love affair is a one sided relationship and many in the UK really aren’t that fussed with NI.
Don’t really care, whoever helps Pay my bills
How are people taking an unofficial poll voted by 11 people that supposedly live in NI seriously?
I mean, forming anything related to a thought not to mention any conclusions on this is a total waste of time
I don’t want a United Ireland and I think it’ll be a mistake if it happens.
Not the sort of thing that would keep me up at night though.
The Northern Ireland part of that poll is slightly misleading seen as it’s unlikely someone who supports a untied Ireland would be on the UK subreddit.
Yes, those 60 randomers on a subreddit are definitely very representative of England.
I don’t think that public transport one is true. My daughter went to uni in Wales, then lived in Scotland. She came hone and got a bus and ranted about it for days!
Completely unsurprising if my taxes where being used to keep England afloat I’d want rid of them.
England just wants us to fuck away off to fuck , always has
Please just take them
The only opinions that matter in this are the northern irish
When I lived in England I never found a single English person who cared about what happened to Northern Ireland.
Funnily enough, a soldier from NI attacked a guy in the pub I worked in, they all called him an Irish soldier. Which as you can probably imagine was confusing for me. But I think it gives good insight into how they see unionists in general.
Dont we Irish get a say??
the funniest day ever will be when the UK vote them out.
The English are a lot sounder than Arlene Fosters mates up there
The mainland brits don’t want NI.
It’s a financial noose around their neck with no benefit whatsoever.
I’m not that invested or interested in this whole debate but I remember my geography teacher telling me that basically that Ireland would have to spend so much money in the North because of the healthcare and all that if he was wrong can someone let me know
Lmao, only one that matters is not on the image.
ROI doesn’t want the economic burden either.
And let me remind you, one vote to get out of the UK. Another vote, IF it is even tabled, to let you into ROI, a vote you will have no voice in.
So be careful or you’ll likely be stranded as an independent country.
Good luck.
How about this? Northern Ireland becomes an independent country (from both Rep Ireland and the UK).

Hmmm what?
Surely the South should have a say in that poll
