An Ocala man has been arrested for first-degree murder in the death of a missing woman from the United Kingdom whose remains were found in the woods in mid-October.The Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Dwain Hall, 53, on charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping in the homicide of a missing woman from the UK. FDLE said it was contacted through INTERPOL on Oct. 13 by police in the UK regarding a missing and endangered woman from England. The woman missed her return flight to England on the 13th, and her remains were recovered in the Marion Oaks area on Oct. 17. Her death was ruled a homicide by investigators.Hall was arrested for first-degree murder and kidnapping, but was already in jail after being arrested on October 17 on charges of fraudulent credit card use and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. Those charges are tied to the apparent fraudulent use of the victim’s credit cards on Oct. 11. According to Hall’s arrest affidavit for the fraudulent credit card usage, a company called Solver Wolfs Roadside Assistance, made multiple attempts to charge a card belonging to the victim. All of those attempts were declined, but a different payment of 905.11 pounds — around $1,190.58 — was made on Oct. 12 from one of the victim’s bank accounts to Solver Wolfs Roadside Assistance.Solver Wolfs Roadside Assistance is a registered Florida Limited Liability Company and shares a mailing address with Hall’s home address in Ocala. Hall is listed as the sole authorized person in the company’s most recent annual report filed with the state.Other attempts to charge the victim’s account were also described in the Oct. 17 arrest affidavit. The last time activity was seen on the victim’s cards or cell phone was on Oct. 12.Hall told investigators that he picked the victim up from the airport and spent time with her.
