    Curious that China and Russia didn’t veto a measure so clearly aligned with the U.S. position and detrimental to Hamas’ legitimacy. And beyond the symbolism how exactly is the UN supposed to “forcibly disarm” an organization that has zero intention of cooperating?

    Supposedly it was a bloc of Arab powers along with Turkey, Indonesia, and Pakistan that pressured Russia and China not to veto. Remember, this Resolution supposedly is going to make a Board of Peace with Mister Donald Trump as its Chairman. That’s insane

    But the aforementioned powers said they won’t send peacekeepers to the Gaza BoP without the Security Council giving it the okay. Is this a Crusade? Didn’t the highest Council in the world just decide that international forces can unite under the banner of the Western King to bring Order to the Holy Land?

  4. With Israell putting Palestinians on aircraft and attempting to dump them in countries such as South Africa, UN resolutions such as this seem little more than crafted distraction.

  5. This is sidestepping international law and creating a new “British Mandate” over Gaza, making it a separate entity from the West Bank and Palestinian state. It’s legitimized colonialism under the guise of “peaceful and prosperous coexistence”.

    Why isn’t Israel, the expansionist colonial entity, being placed under the watchful gaze of an “international force” Why aren’t the member who voted “Yes” withdrawing their recognition of Israel until it implements reforms and stops being a fascist police state for Palestinians while protecting hoards of bloodthirsty, savage settlers that gouge out the eyes of cattle and burn Palestinian homes and properties under the protection of the IDF?

    The West shows its true colors again.
