The National Bank of Belarus is holding a vote on a new graphic symbol for the Belarusian ruble. The competition was launched to “create an original and recognizable symbol of the official monetary unit of the Republic of Belarus”.
Nearly 2,700 submissions were sent to the competition. Five finalists were selected. The results of the vote will be announced by December 31.
Voting is available on the National Bank’s website via mobile phone. Each phone number can vote only once.
