That’s trump’s playbook. Create a problem, the price rises, blame the other guy, price lowers back to normal, says I’m a genius I fixed it!
Two of those three products made no sense in the first place, if a tariff is meant to protect domestic producers.
The third one makes no sense to drop, if you really wanted to protect a base of voters who reliably have voted Republican for decades.
Then again, it’s not as if McDonalds and Burger King buy American beef in the first place.
