Who has bought or seen these eggs from Dunnes? The sign on it that says ‘laid by hens temporality housed for their welfare’. I’ve noticed that on these eggs the past few weeks. Didn’t see it beforehand. How long has that sticker been on for? Will they ever free the hens? Free the hens 100000 times.

Genuinely I wanna know. I’ll stop buying them if it’s not fixed soon. I want hen eggs that are out there in the natural surfaces eating grass and shit.
They’re keeping them inside because of bird flu.
Due to bird flu being carried by wild migrating birds, farmers have been advised to keep their hens indoors temporarily
I just bought eggs in Tesco yesterday – they no longer had the sticker. Must’ve been a fresh batch.
Free the girls!
Bird flu had them under mandatory housing order until very recently.
OP must have been living under a rock for the past few months.. 😅😅😅😅
Thanks everyone for the responses. I genuinely had no idea. Cheers haha!

Ok
That’s great. The hens get free housing as well. What about the homeless people?????
You’re better off buying organic Irish eggs.
As pointed out, free range hens cannot go out of shed because of fear of bird flu!!!
So they are not battery hens but they are not getting their daily walk outside
It’s a nice way of saying “we are now robbing you blind for 12 battery hen eggs”
