  2. Lmao. Battle of Stalingrad resulted in an entire army of the Germans being encircled by the Soviets. Oh, I get it, this article is referring to the Ukrainians encircled in Myrnohrad. Still not a Stalingrad level disaster for Ukraine, but a disaster nonetheless.

  5. If there’s one thing the Ukrainians are good at, it’s forcing the enemy to expend more resources and manpower than needed to secure a pretty mundane and useless objective.

    Even if Ukraine loses Pokrovsk, they still complete their objective.

    Russia has had control of 90%+ of the city for a week or more now.

    There were a few Ukrainian troops holed up in the Dinas district, getting FABs dropped on them.

    There was no organized resistance on the ground within Pokrovsk over the past week.

    “Modern day Stalingrad?”

    There was barely a fight for Pokrovsk, it fell with minimal resistance – just like what is happening in Sivers’k right now.

    Myrnohrad still has some resistance, that’s a different story, though not one that is likely to have a happy ending.

  9. Russia is struggling but so is Ukraine. I hope for a Russian collapse soon but I fear the stalling support from the EU will mean that Ukraine will falter first. Give Ukraine the weapons it’s needs and let them do what they do best.

    Oh, and screw the orange idiot
