Isn’t it a bit odd for an infection control expert and someone trained in viral medicine to be running a gym?
Doesn’t matter that he turned out to be “right” in the long run (he wasn’t right, a gym is just a room like any other and the risk of spreading was present).
He refused to comply with the law because he did not feel it applied to him. I do hope he doesn’t choose to do the same when driving.
There is still an increased risk when inside an area with poor ventilation though. Exercise is great for you and does improve your immune system, however nothing helps more than not getting COVID in the first place.
What is it with Gym owners being the ones who pushed back so hard against the lockdown?
The infection rates in Bedfordshire were rising at that time, the rules were in place for public health, not the bank balance of some gym owner.
Kind of hard to criticise someone as insignificant as this when gyms at least contribute to a betterment of society (generally), whilst the cunts actually writing the rules get pissed up and have their pathetic cops protect them on it
