The ever-growing interest in Greece among tourism professionals in Finland and Denmark was confirmed once again during the Nordic Workshop Around the World 2025, with the participation of the GNTO Scandinavia Service.
The two workshops were organized by the company Aviareps on 11 and 13 November 2025 in Helsinki and Copenhagen, respectively. In the Finnish capital, Greece was also represented by the Region of Central Macedonia and the Tourist Organizations of Thessaloniki and Halkidiki.

During the events, the approximately 70 participating tourism professionals, representatives of travel agencies and airlines, as well as DMCs had the opportunity to learn about new and less widespread Greek destinations among the general traveling public, while individual meetings were also held with the aim of further strengthening cooperation and promoting Greece in these markets, as a sustainable and multidisciplinary destination throughout the year.
At the end of the workshops, a draw was held, with two travel agency winners winning a 3-day stay on the island of Santorini.

Greece is consistently included among the favorite destinations of Scandinavian travelers and this specific action is part of the Greek National Tourism Organization’s overall strategy for extroversion and promotion of our country in the travel industry, aiming to strengthen its presence in the countries of the region and its cooperation with local travel organizations.
