  2. Here we go again. Why doesn’t the tramp get through his skull that pootin wants total capitulation. It was Crimea before, now it’s Donbas and next will be Kiev and then onto Poland and then some more.

  8. Why can’t Trump get it through his widdle brain that Ukraine said “fuck you!” to giving up land? Russia destroyed its cities, killed around a million people by now, and kidnapped its children. Why would they give anything? And what guarantees? From Trump? Putin? I trust diarrhea more!

    I wonder how that turned out…oh yeah Russia broke the agreement and the ‘security guarantees’ were useless

    If its anything that people such as the Hmong (Vietnam War), Kurds and others learned is any USA agreement is not worth the paper it’s written on. USA like most countries in this world will use another country and it’s people when it suits them, then walk away when they lose interest

Ukraine agrees to this, then gets “security guarantees” just like last time, Russia then goes back and learns from their mistakes, grows their army back up and in 10 years time, launches the same invasion all over again, with the same “security guarantees” going straight out the window because Putin threatens nuclear fire.

    Not a chance this will happen.

    I dont see how Ukraine can accept that. Because there’s not even going to be US soldiers in that guarantee.

  22. It seems to be less „Trumps plan“ so far and more „Kirill Dimitrievs plan transmitted to Witkoff“. It may become Trumps plan or it may not, depends on who he will talk to in the meantime.

  26. For Trump and Witkoff, this is just trading land parcels for a deal before a random date when taxes on land deals go higher. God knows what they would have traded away to pacify Hitler or Tojo in 1941.

I imagine: if it didnt include Ukraine giving up the two provinces it still maintains a strong presence in, only was limited to Luhansk and Donetsk, and included European peacekeepers on the ground as part of the security guarantees: and things like return of POWs and vanished Ukrainian children: this would be relatively well received.

    Of course, the actual proposal will include Ukraine ceding land it still controls, no boots on the ground, no return of people, and security guarantees amounting to “trust us bro”.

    Which will give Putin and Trump a way to point to Ukraine as the enemy of peace and justify lifting sanctions. Maybe they will celebrate the deal at the grand unveiling of Trump Tower Moscow.

    Orcistan agrees to withdraw to recognized 1991 borders and if accepted will be guaranteed safe exit during this period.

    Ukraine offers to be the sole supplier of toilets to Orcistan at 50% market discount during reconstruction and demining of all oblasts.

  32. Ukraine already has security guarantees, but Trump hasn’t honored them. He needs to do his job instead of asking Ukraine to surrender.
