I'm visiting Tromsø in March and I have this type c adapter, will this work for plugs in Norway or would I need to get a type f adapter?

  1. Yep it will work! Type F also works just in case you wondered.

  2. One of the pins (the one on the right side) appear to be bent a bit out of shape, so maybe this specific plug won’t fit very well.

«For Norway there are two associated plug types, types C and F. Plug type C is the plug which has two round pins and plug type F is the plug which has two round pins with two earth clips on the side. Norway operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.»

  3. Yes but check that whatever appliance you’re plugging in is rated for 230V

Edit unless there’s a transformer in there, you didn’t take a photo of the front.

  4. It will work. If the size is because it includes a transformer, make sure whatever you plug into it draws less power than the transformer can supply.

If it doesn’t have a transformer, make sure it can take 230V in order to not melt or set fire to what you plug into it.
