Another con job by Trump and Putin. Anything concocted by Trump and involving Putin is not to be believed. Both are confirmed liars to the end where no deception is off the table.
Now they propose Ukraine trust its security to Russia and cede wide swaths of territory. If anything, it is a losing proposition to bargain away any defense resources to neither trustworthy individual.

Putin won’t be able to continue the war for longer, Russia’s economy isn’t at the level of its military. The war isn’t sustainable on Russia’s economy.
Unless the Ukraine frontline is about to collapse, it is a very bad deal. Less troops and giving up territory will just encourage another invasion in the future (will be the 3rd time then). Also giving Russia precious time to rebuild the oil refinery and better prepare for the next invasion. The best time to repel the next invasion is now.
