Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations strongly rejected the resolution drafted against the Islamic Republic of Iran by the the Canadian mission.
The Iranian mission referred to the record of the Canadian government in violating human rights, such as the case of Canadian Indian residential school gravesites and its record of racism, noting that human rights have become an instrument in the hands of violators of human rights.
