  1. Wasn’t that long ago it was the poles we were trying to stop coming here. Polish pilots shot down more planes than British pilots in the battle of Britain, and were instrumental in the sinking of the Bismark

It disgusts me how people choose to forget our debts for nationalist rhetoric.

  2. At school I was told that the poppy represents all the fallen on all sides during all wars.

    When did that change?

  3. Bloody immigrants coming over here and fighting to preserve our way of life

  4. The poppies are for all who served in all the wars from the second , to the present .
Again the snowflakes on the left trying to start something from nothing

  5. Yes. Poppies for all. That is the point of them. Is this really a ‘gotcha’ ? The whole point of the Poppy Appeal is to raise support, awareness and remembrance for ALL who have died in conflict.

  6. Damn the 4 on the left look dapper as fuck.

    Thanks for your service, gents.

  7. World war 2 : something happened

Reddit: REEEEEE THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY ABOUT YOUR LOCAL HIGH STREET TURNING INTO A MONEY LAUNDERING HOVEL WHERE NOBODY SPEAKS ENGLISH

  8. OP literally got almost 3 years of Reddit history that’s entirely posting divisive shit in this sub. Absolute bad faith actor.

  9. I’ve seen plenty of Sikhs and Hindus wear the poppy with pride.

  10. These men would be absolutely horrified at the current state of the UK (same as everyone else)

  11. The account that posted is not genuine and the meme is nonsensical, so save your outrage.

Although, anyone trying to make the case that since non-British people fought on our side in WW2, then we shouldn’t have any limits or controls on imigration, is just as mentally deranged as claiming that Germans today are evil Nazis and we should kill them.

  12. Poppies are for ALL soldiers fallen in conflict. Any conflict. Any nationality, skin colour or religion.
It’s for remembering their ultimate sacrifice, whether they were British, German, Iraqi etc…

  13. The right have shifted the narrative again to calling the empire a mistake purely on the grounds that it started globalism and set the stage for immigration in to the UK. These people want to return to agricultural Britain of the 1700s

  14. I get the vibe that great British memes aren’t actually great British at all. Great Britain or England, Scotland, wales and Ireland doesn’t produce any positive content, it’s forever left wing bashing of England. The people of England aren’t being broadcasted int he best way. There are tremendous accomplishments and historical events and all I see is shite, if I’m honest and bots commenting

  15. Of course it is. I haven’t seen anyone saying otherwise

  16. Did anyone say it wasn’t? Of course it is.

But let’s not also forget the 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS though… Which was predominantly Muslim.

  17. All braver men than all hate-filled racists, that’s certain. 👏👏👏👏

  18. Sikh turbans go hard as fuck, they instantly make any outfit look sharper.

  19. No-one protesting immigration has a problem with Sikhs, their religion is probably the best one out of all of them, Christianity included. Brilliant values to live your life by.

  20. So religions fought? not the people 🤣🤣 they also fought for the nazi party

  21. Don’t let the ukip/reformers know, their tiny brains will explode.

  22. I wouldn’t wear a poppy for obvious reasons, but I honestly couldn’t care less if people wear one or not, it’s a personal choice at the end of the day.

  23. There were really Muslim, Hindu and Sikh Spitfire pilots in combat in the Battle of Britain? What were their names?

  24. Nah all poppies belong to me. Bring on the opium boys.

  25. Who said it wasn’t? The poppy is in remembrance of all who have fallen.

I’ve never seen anything that has said the poppy doesn’t belong to them as well. Please could you link examples? I’m obviously missing something. I don’t understand why everyone is trying to be so divisive all the time.

  26. There are only 3 surviving veterans in the UK from WW2.
Is the poppy appeal still relevant?

  27. Honnestly i never heard otherwise stop virtue signalling racist bullshit
