Peel Police say six vehicles were involved in the crash that may have been caused by a medical episode just before 7 a.m. this morning.
Several pedestrians were struck in a crash involving multiple vehicles at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport Thursday morning, which police say may have been caused by a medical episode.
Emergency crews were called to Terminal 3 just before 7 a.m. for a collision involving six vehicles. Police said five pedestrians were struck during the crash, and all sustained minor injuries.
Three individuals were transported to hospital. All drivers involved remained on the scene, police said.
Images from the scene showed that multiple ambulances, firetrucks, and police cruisers responded to the collision. At least once vehicle involved in the crash appears to have rammed into a planter near the side of the airport.

Pearson airport tweeted that it is aware of the crash and advised that it has no impact on operations.
No other details about the possible medical episode were released by police. The scene has since cleared.
