West Pomerania be like super flat

  1. Beautiful <3 this is basically whole of Eastern-central Europe between Carpathians and the Baltic sea.

  2. In many cases it is, but Wielkopolska (Greater Poland) seems even more flat. West Pomerania has some regions with soil covered sand hills or even mountains formed by a glacier.

Modern Poland territory was on the verge of ancient glacier, but permafrost range was even larger. Top of the glacier had maximum 3,8 km thickness above what now is Sweden.

If I remember correctly, some parts of Poland were also a bottom of lake at some time.
