    Isn’t this question basically encouraging the “deep state” Republicans have been bitching about forever? While a person seeking to advance the President’s EO’s might align with the executive office today, in four years when we have a new President with different objectives, any of these loyalists that are hired who are still seeking to advance his objectives are now acting against the interests of the new administration, which is basically the definition of the “deep state” according to these people.

    So deep state = bad unless they’re doing what I want them to do in which case deep state = good.

And Washington get pissed at him and says you will address me as president AND NOTHING MORE. Assuming anything close to that happened that was a real man. Trump would be there like damn right I’m your highness, and why haven’t you made me a crown!

    This is a disturbing echo of history and to make government employees swear an oath to any president makes no sense since he or she only can hold office for 8 years max.

    You can say that making employees wear an oath to President Trump is just another example of him telegraphing that he believes he is not leaving office
