  2. I don’t think he’s unreasonable to say this.

    A lot of the problems of the UK are structural, and a consequence of years – or even decades – of neglect.

    Furthermore, we’ve had a lot of instability in recent years with COVID, Brexit and the Ukraine war.

    Those things, next to constant leadership changes under the Tories, meant that not much could get done practically.

    Examples: housing, public transport, child poverty, inequality.

    Those don’t take just 1 year to fix.

  5. I’ll say this in his defence .. Thatcher’s first few years were very iffy … but she didn’t alienate herself from her own voter base.

  19. I think he has been doing a decent job, to be honest. I know that doesn’t align with the bots, right-wing rags and the tireless narrative drum beating that he is the literal reincarnation of the devil and everything he does is awful… but if you actually look at what he has been doing, it has been moving things in the right direction.

  26. For my vote, you’d really need to turn it around and stop shitting on trans people. Your treatment of a very small minority, of which I am a member, shows what you will do if you can get away with it.

    Doesn’t matter, labour don’t run candidates in Northern Ireland. So the question of whether I’d vote labour
    is moot.
