Anyone else tried this yet? Am drinking one for the first time and as someone who grew up in Munich, I've got mixed feelings. It's almost like a German pilsner but the flavour's not quite right, could do with a bit more bite too. Still decent (and cheap)

It’s shite.
As someone who drinks Tennent’s a lot, I can guarantee that this is shitty. The regular Tennent’s I drink every day is shitty. But them branching out and trying new things on a budget… will be shite.
Where do you buy it? I can’t seem to find it anywhere that’s listed on the website: no Tesco, Asda or Sainsbury’s stocks it 🤨
Didn’t think you could get any worse than Tennents ? 🤮
Well, to start with, Pilsener is from Bohemia and not Bavaria.
It is delicious, I know people will be sceptical but it is genuinely delicious
I really like it. Something a bit different and it goes down very well.
Pretty decent, on a few cans the now!
The did a Tennents Whisky Oak, I used to order it all the time.. but it discontinued recently. Shame.
What the fuck is this abomination?
Based on the comments this is one polarizing drink
You were drinking Pilsner growing up in Munich??
Tennentsweiser World Cup special edition coming soon
Pilsner? I barley know her!
Mind you, they used to produce “Gold Bier” back in the 1980’s, brewed in accordance with the German Purity Laws (if I remember), and it was pretty tasty!
During a multi-week business trip to London many years ago, I frequented a pub that had Tennents Extra Strong Lager on tap. The bartender told me that I would never be able to drink six in one sitting. Though I made several valiant attempts, he was right.
Does anyone remember the tenants white lager from the early 00s.? A think I’m the only one. It was stronger. Didn’t last long.
Does it still taste of metal?
Is it any good?
Should be Bavarian Helles.
I like his nail polish, nice beer .
Does it taste like German pennies?
🤔 interesting. I’ve been to Oktoberfest (Weisn) many a time & tasted “A” lot of fine pilsner’s…. where can I buy our very own?
Bavaria it’s more common to find ‘Helles’, not so much pils. Here on Dortmund, you’ll find more Pils, as you will in lots of other places.
I got a few cans from a Spar (a good 30 minute drive away) and they were nice.
Reminded me of the Black T bottles you used to get out of the supermarkets. That was a good drink.
Drinking it now, im impressed. Normally tennents are shite but this is decent
I assumed this was AI slop until i read the comments.
