  1. happy to name and shame a guy who egged a statue but keeping it professional for the rapist?

  2. I’m getting deja vu. Is this a new one, or the same one that was reported a few months ago?

  3. Just you wait until those who were “forced” to vote Tory due to what happened in Rotherham find out about this guy and that Ex Wakefield mp I’m sure they will be fuming.

  4. Mark Francois had a whole bunch of rape allegations from 2020 and earlier..

If he isn’t seen in parliament tomorrow there’s your answer.
Every 50 something Tory will WANT to be seen in parliament to prove its not them

  5. I’m sure there is absolutely no connection between this case with a Tory MP in his 50’s being arrested for “rape and sexual assault allegations spanning a seven-year period” and the arrest of a Tory MP in his 50’s in 2020 for rape and sexual assault allegations between 2002 and 2009 whose accuser has been trying to appeal the decision of the Met not to refer the case to the CPS for the last few years.

  6. There seems to be a connecting factor between all these UK politicians who are breaking the law, I can’t quite put my finger on it…

  7. Reminder that it’s very possible he wont be charged. And that naming people randomly is potentially libel, perverting the course of justice or contempt of court.

  8. Boris Johnson: “I am convinced that the MP in question did not rape anyone, and if they did they were unaware that rape is unlawful, and if they were aware then they were unaware they were committing rape at the time, and if they were aware then I’m assured they were only in the victim for 10 minutes before leaving. In any case, I consider the matter closed.”

  9. I’m really quite sad that I’m not surprised. What a fucking rough state our parliament is in when finding out they are rapists ( probably) is no big surprise

  10. Normally you would struggle to think who in government could do such a thing, now it’s the opposite could be any of them.

  11. Oh, great, for which new civil liberty curtailment was *this* the cover?
It’s getting to the point I have to head-count my acquaintances again after every news story so I know when they get round to their Kristallnacht.
