Sweden’s head coach, Englishman Graham Potter, spoke about the playoff round of the 2026 World Cup, where his team will meet Ukraine in the semi-finals.
According to the Ukrainian Association of Football, the coach stressed that the team should play in its own style of football and review video materials to better prepare for the upcoming clash.
“We simply need to review all the video materials, and then you will see how exciting the tournament will be. Of course, this is a dream for all of us, and this will be part of the challenge for the Sweden national team. I think about how to control these emotions and try to play our football, doing everything as well as possible. But it’s incredibly exciting. We would be very proud if we managed to reach the 2026 World Cup, but first we need to play two important matches,” said the coach.
