I only have a floor plan of rooms with square metres on. Is there anyway I can figure out the length of walls form this. Looking to put an offer in on a house and would like to use some AI to see what it could look like renovated but I need wall length to do this. Thanks in advance

  1. Take the total square meters of the room and calculate the square root.
If the room is a square, this value gives you the length of each wall.

If the room is rectangular, the square root gives you a good starting point. From there, you can adjust the lengths of two of the walls up or down while keeping the total area the same.

  2. this is not a very accurately done drawing – i’ve scaled it to the right size using one room’s area measurement but the others don’t match. that being said here’s the approximate dimensions: [first plan](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/22wal2w5jdltm7kvg3dfk/Screenshot-2025-11-22-at-18.43.25.png?rlkey=9vbter7mord6tyxbhwbh2i9xy&st=66go4ti9&dl=1 ) / [second plan](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/wr5cyoljhn2gtx2wsbo7k/Screenshot-2025-11-22-at-18.53.20.png?rlkey=adp1vxgfrs5l3v3lovx6on7jl&st=2tpd3j5j&dl=1). keep in mind, there is a high chance my dimensions are off by +/- 10 cm

  3. Its a shame not every apartment doesnt already have 360 screening. This would solve the issue in a few seconds. Especially since 360 now comes AI Integrated

  4. This is a Giraffe floorplan, which means the agency can export a version of the plan with a L x W measurement.

  5. If the house is already built, I would go on geoportail.lu and measure the wall lengths. Should be pretty accurate to give you an idea of the house footprint and do some measurements.
