  1. You know, you better be afraid. The fact they have goblins like this doesnt change fact they have a shitload of meat willing to murder civilians, execute POWs and die for their great leader. And behind those goblins there are huge military industrial complex and hundreds of thousends of experienced artillerymen, drone pilots, et.c.

    In Germany they would have went to a special needs school and received help.

    Of course, fuck all the other Russians who happily die for daddy Pootin. We have to send more support to Ukraine.

  5. As sad as this group of dead meat looks, there are hundreds of thousands of russian soldiers who are so desensitized to suffering that they are willing to inflict the worst kind of suffering on those they perceive as enemies.

  6. From what I understood Russia has basically three tiers of infantry they use :

    * Meat like these guys that are sent in suicide assault to probe defenses and make the enemy use ammo they cost nothing and get barely usable gear

    * « Line infantry » (my words) which are infantry that can count to five and can be trusted to know how a rifle works, they get decent usable gear and are used to hold trenches. They are still fairly expendable but can still be useful for other things than just as drone fodder.

    * What they call Speznatz which are soldiers that are actually good at their job, can take initiative and work in something that actually looks like US / Western European professional infantry. They get top gear and are generally safe from meatwave assaults and are used for more tactical jobs and sometimes to keep the others tiers in line.

    The fact we have hundreds of videos of morons and junkies should not lead us to think they don’t have any actually good soldiers.

  9. For this specific group, I don’t think they needed to be scammed. But I wouldn’t call them volunteers either. These look mentally impaired, and apparently in Russia that’s treated with Vodka. They’ll do whatever they’re told, especially if you look a bit intimidating.

    I really feel sorry for them. It wasn’t right to film them.

  12. Irrelevant of their quality, the fact that russia have millions of men, willing to die for Putin for as little as 2000€ a month, while enjoying themselves, should be a little worrisome.

  13. russians probably use this war to get rid of special needs people and their prison inmates (like in the case of wagner). Use them as frontline meat, if they die its a win, if they fight for another day also a win.

    Also that Russian economy will collapse any second now.
    Or that Putin is terminally ill.

    And i wonder is it just so that Europe don’t send weaponry to Ukraine?

    Because if russian soldiers are useless and they don’t have any tanks left, etc etc why is the war still going, ukranian cities bombed, people dying?

    Every time ukraine asked for weapons, they were denied and then delayed and finally delivered but one or two yesrs later.
    And maybe if Ukraine got what they asked in the first year (or boots on the ground) the war would have been over already.

    So maybe i am going insane but these types of posts make Russia feel less than a threat they really are.

  15. Feels wrong to make fun of men who were clearly conscripted into a suicide charge just to make Ukrainians waste ammo by Russia. These men are clearly terrified out of their minds and would rather be anywhere else, thing is they don’t have a choice. You and anyone could be in their shoes being sent to their deaths. It speaks of your character that you thought to disparage them instead of deploring their fate and denouncing Russia.

  17. i honestly feel really bad for these guys. they’re not soldiers. they’re just addicts and/or mentally ill people. and now they’re getting sent to their deaths which will likely accomplish absolutely nothing. fuck russia and fuck this war

  22. This is just sad. Are Russia just picking people off the streets now? Half of them look mentally disabled and/or strung out to fuck.

    Some of my local neighbourhood smackheads look healthier and more with it than these guys.

  25. This is genuinely heartbreaking. Regardless of which side they’re on, seeing people stripped of basic dignity like this is deeply wrong.
