  1. “Its affected me, now I’m thinking about it enough to talk about it!”

  2. Say what you will about the man, but it’s always admirable when a public figure reveals this kind of thing with the attitude of it being for the greater good. I wouldn’t be so open to broadcasting my medical ailments in his position.

  3. There’s a “cancerous arsehole” joke here somewhere…

  4. Ghoulish comments on a man being diagnosed with cancer incoming….

  5. So! How long before someone from Oxbridge does their PhD on the link between prostate cancer and sticking your tackle in a dead pigs mouth?

Just asking for a friend 🫢

  6. Let’s hope it’s ultra slow like most protate cancers. Also he dismantled our access to care for this

  7. It’s awful when anyone is diagnosed with Cancer, and I wish him a speedy recovery as no one should suffer from cancer. However, I can’t help but feel angry as it was his party that had asset stripped the NHS and particularly his government until he bailed after getting Brexit voted through. There will be lots of people in the UK having to wait longer (like my very good friend, still waiting on his prostate surgery since being diagnosed in April) for treatment. Something he won’t have to worry about as he will have access to the best private treatment the money he earned post-Brexit and Public office can buy.
Without wishing ill will on him, I hope this morally has an effect on him and he publicly states how important it is for us to have our NHS return to being the envy of the world and encourages all future parliaments to invest in the NHS for us all.

  8. Just start screening everyone from 50 onwards on an annual basis.

    Job done.

  9. Get your prostate checked annually. I’ve had blood in my urine a few times over the years. After repeated tests, cameras and scans they have never found a cause. In the most recent occurrence they noticed a nodule on my prostate which fortunately didn’t turn out to be of any concern. Now I get it checked once a year. The NHS states if you’re over 50 you can request a PSA test without symptoms. Regarding blood in your urine, if you’re over 50 you should be referred for tests in hospital promptly, at one time on the NHS website it said within 2 weeks. I had a relative who was over 50 and he had blood in his urine. The GP didn’t refer him, he was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer nine months later. He died four years later.

  10. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone but given how many people he’s fucked in the arse, he’s probably struggling with the juxtaposition.

  11. My uncle currently has stage 3 prostate cancer, and is going to get treatment soon. He’s probably one of the healthiest people in our family. Doesn’t drink, smoke and keeps fit. It can happen to anyone. Get tested

  12. I get people hate him and I can’t fault people for bringing that up in this post but he should also be commended for raising awareness etc and pushing for targeted screening.

He’s a cunt but for once he’s doing/saying something right,

  13. Having had prostate cancer , I’d urge any man to get tested if you have any of the know. symptoms . Please don’t be squeamish , better to be a little embarrassed than dead .

  14. Screening is an important tool – here in Australia bowel cancer screening from the gov literally has you mail your poop and it has been very effective

  15. I think he needs to be treated for this.

Let’s take away all of his money and force him to use the *checks internet sources* – ‘Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust’ – the slowest for dealing with cancer patients.

Fair treatment, yes? For what he and his friends did to the NHS.

  16. It’s wild we don’t all get an annual checkup/screenings to catch preventative bullshit
