This is the way 💚

  1. I don’t think dismantling our nuclear deterrent is going to do us or Europe any favours.

  2. I wish this was the case but isn’t Corbyn trying to get his own party up and moving? More leftist infighting so we continue to never stand a chance, feels like

  3. Folk saying he’s a communist.

Folk should also fuck off to America with their shit understanding of politics.

  4. When are people going to realise that Corbyn is toxic to voters. He has had his go at it. His stance has never changed. Only an idiot does the same thing twice and expects a different result.

  5. Sorry. I don’t trust ex-Lib Dems who were happy to be members and run for office for them in the immediate aftermath of the coalition. I don’t trust that he’s suddenly become as left wing as he says and isn’t just reattempting the Clegg gambit of appealing to disaffected left wingers out of opportunism with no intention of following through.

Also the Greens are projected to win all of 12% of the vote in my constituency next election, and even that’ll be a high water mark for them. In a constituency that Corbyn’s Labour once won outright. So no, I only vote for people who I can trust are actually left wing and not just pretending out of electoral opportunism, and apparently I’m not the only one around here who feels that way.

  6. But the Greens aren’t going to steal support from Reform, Labour yes, reform no.

I think Reform will implode before the GE, but failing that I think the only hope of beating Reform is either Labour getting their shit together, or the Tories using some arcane magic to transform themselves back into and electable party.

I think Labour and the Tories are the ones with enough overlap where they can draw the moderate or unsure reform supporter away.

  7. Man the bots came out in force for this one. Literally the only 2 points I have seen against him are the breasts thing (honestly, who fucking cares?) and “muh nukes”. It just stinks of the Daily Mail writing another hit piece when they saw the Greens surge in the polls.

  8. Ironically the only votes the Greens are taking is Labours because absolutely no-one voting Reform is going to change to him.

  9. It’s wild how some political labels get thrown around without any understanding of what they actually mean. Being pro-nuclear deterrent for national security is just common sense, not an extreme position. I genuinely don’t get the appeal of figures like Farage either. This whole thread really highlights how muddled the political conversation has become.

  10. The Green Party leader is not taking votes from Reform. He could take votes from the LibDems and Labour. Reform will take votes from the Tories which makes a Reform first past the post victory all the more likely. A scary thought.

  11. It’s quite sweet watching kids and middle class, civil servant retirees getting excited.

  12. What is positive about the greens can somebody elevator pitch me? It seems like a lot of nicey nice policies which aren’t actually logical but will get people to vote

  13. only a fool burns down the kingdom, to rule over the ashes

  14. It’s always the same person posting these every time lol

  15. This is wild considering Corbyn & Sultana’s passive agreesive and, at times, outright hostile reaction to the green surge.

  16. “I know, but he can” 😂 This meme format never gets old.

  17. Guys we have figured out how to overthrow Farage without resorting to Corbyn. And, he can also make your wife’s breasts bigger with hypnosis.

  18. Not a fan of where we are at right now buuut…all three of the above are delulu twats selling hopium and fantasy policies to a frustrated electorate.

  19. You morons think Polanski will beaf Farage. I think theyre both shit but come on.

  20. I’m a lefty, but the idea that zack is the answer is laughable.

He was a lib dem in 2015, a zionist in 2019 and now he’s 180ed on all his politcal beliefs as a 40 year old man or he’s a bit disingenuous and really really wants to be a politician and just saying what opinion polls say people want to hear.

  21. Here’s my take on the nuclear deterrent argument, since it’s being mentioned a lot in the comments:

I don’t think we’re in a safe position to disarm ourselves of a nuclear deterrent, and it seems a huge proportion of the British public feels the same way.

However, the problem with Trident is that it relies heavily on a lot of international cooperation to maintain it long term, particularly the U.S. – given the current international political landscape, we need to put our money where our mouth is in terms of protecting our ties with Europe and reducing our dependence on an increasingly unreliable and untrustworthy ally.

A possible alternative? It is worth noting that France is the only European country which independently manufactures and stores its own nuclear weapons, eliminating dependency on the U.S. and NATO for its upkeep, as well as continuously modernising their deterrent infrastructure.

I think our government needs to consider negotiating a nuclear defence pact with France, and pivot towards adopting their deterrent system for long term viability and strengthening our ties with European defence.

  22. What’s he going to do, hypnotise everyone into thinking they’ve got bigger breasts? 😆😆😆

  23. Long way to say you don’t understand the voting system. the Greens getting votes from anyone apart from Reform voters HELPS Reform.

I rather Green than Reform but neither is a good choice.

  24. What’s Polanski gonna do, ask him nicely to stop?

  25. This guy and Corbyn are the reason we’ll end up with a Reform government. If I were Russia, I’d be donating to both Reform and the Greens
