Croatian broadcaster HRT has announced that the submission window for Dora 2026, the country’s national selection for Eurovision, officially closed at midnight on Sunday, 23 November. This year marks a historic milestone, as 251 songswere submitted— the highest number of entries the contest has ever received.
According to HRT, the growing interest from artists and songwriters confirms the increasingly prominent role of Dora as Croatia’s biggest music and television event. In recent years, the competition has experienced a notable revival, attracting more and more creators from across the country’s diverse music scene.
Dora 2026 will take place in February in Zagreb, at the studios of Croatian Radiotelevision, and will be broadcast live on HRT channels.
